• Wind up + [상태](형/전/동사-ing): 어떤 [상태]로 끝나다, 어떤 처지가 되다, [동사]하며 끝나다 (보통은 결과가 안 좋음)
  • If you're not careful, you could wind up hurting yourself.
  • Stop gambling. You don't want to wind up broke, right?
  • If you keep doing stuff like that, you're going to wind up in prison.
• Get one's way: [누구]가 원하는 방식대로 되다, [누구] 뜻대로 진행되다
